Wanted to say thanks to all of my watchers for the recent 30,000 pageview milestone. I've really enjoyed being a part of DA for the past 6 years. Here's to many more!
New.It's been a year since I took everything down and left the DeviantArt community. I've gone through many changes since, both artistically and personally. Two big examples are the birth of our fourth child and the opening of my new studio/transition to gallery work and departure (not entirely) from illustration. I decided that given all these changes, there was no harm in posting my new work to the site.
So, I'm back.
All things must end. It's come time to leave deviantart as an artist. I will keep my account so that I may browse others' art, but will no longer be submitting my own. There are too many other ways to showcase it that don't involve so much nonsense, and most importantly, awful terms of service.
It's been real.
More FOOTPRINTS!Hi everyone! I know I don't write journals here often, but I wanted to ask for your help. About 3 years ago My friend/collaborator Joey Esposito and I kickstarter our comic Footprints. It was released to much acclaim and attention, all the way up to a feature in USAToday. We've teamed up again for a one-shot follow up, and need money for printing and design. We have some great rewards such as signed copies of the comic, digital downloads of the previous volume and script pages, a T-shirt, prints, original art from me (both sketches and original pages from Volume 1) and the chance to appear on Joey's podcast "Assemble After Dark" and even the chance to be drawn into the book.
We'd love your help, either by pledging or sharing this on Deviantart and/or other social media! Thanks!

What do we say to the god of death?I'm typing this journal from my hospital bed. Late Friday night I went to our nearby hospital and it was determined I had a heart attack. I was airlifted downtown and taken to the cath lab, where they discovered a 99% blockage of my LAD. If you're not up on cardiologic parlance, that's bad, bad news. I feel safe saying that very many folks with such a severely occluded LAD die. It's the primary coronary artery supplying the left ventricle, which pumps oxygenated blood throughout your body.
I have a stent in place now and I feel normal. I'm an unusual sight on this floor: a 30-year-old strolling around easily. More than one staff member has commented that they can't believe I'm a patient. Lots of changes to come. It's even quite possible that I'll be completely normal again.
Working!Sorry I haven't had a lot of art to post lately. Everything I'm doing is under NDA. As soon as I can either show what I'm doing (probably several months) or work on something else, I'll post it up for you guys!
If you watch me, please take 2 seconds to help?Just a click for the link and (one on the "are you sure you want to leave?" deviantart warning), and then a click on 5 stars for my Glamdring painting in the Hobbit contest.
It looks like competitors are sandbagging me. I've really sunk hard in the ratings. PLEASE take 2 seconds and help a guy out! This is the last day of the contest before finals.
Hobbit Design Contest - PLEASE HELP!Hey fellow deviants,
My entry for the official Hobbit Design contest is live! Please go over there and rate me 5 stars, and if you feel so inclined, please share this link wherever/however (here, fb, twitter, etc)! Thanks so much!
Busy busy busySorry I haven't had much work to post.
Right now I'm working on several projects that I can't reveal for a while. Late this month I'll have a painting I can show off though.
Thanks to everyone out there still watching!
20,000 (now over 21k) viewsI'm a little late on this, but that's because I had one day of crazy activity and the 20,000 pageview milestone blew by very quickly!
So here's to all my watchers and visitors. Hard to believe I've been a member of dA this long, but I'll be around for a long time to come. Thanks for your support and for checking out my art with all its evolution over the years.
Here's to 50,000, 100,000, and on and on...

ALL Next Gen Fun Facts! This is fan made!
All Next Gen Fun Facts! :iconwoootplz: Everything from my previous fun facts journals as well as some new ones are in here I probably won't make any more new Fun Facts journals. Instead, I'll just add them in here and let you know if there are any updates (if they are worth mentioning of course) I'll probably add more to the younger characters later since I'm still developing them. HOLY FRICK THIS JOURNAL IS LONG!
If this journal in particular is too long, you can look at these kinda shorter ones that narrow the characters down by category
